This album arranged by two Norwegian guys, Thomas and Lars aka Coastal County, is just that; funky, jazzy, moody tracks, just taken out from a 60's cult exploitation movie. Combining the classic soundtrack grooves with italian library funk and top it with some Norwegian mountainside melodies, you get something quite unique; Coastal County.

California Flight Project is a well known name for many record collectors because of the PPU 7" release of California Flight, and the self released CD-R's from the front man, Jerry "J". Finally Preservation records is very proud to present to you the first official release on vinyl of their early tracks 79-81. Fantastic modern soul from Berkley California. Licenced, remastered, with new cover and full credits makes this a collectors item. Only 500 pressed.

Bend A Little/I've Got The Notion

Between the sessions at Wishborne Sound Studios, the session musicians Terry Woodford, Clayton Ivey, Muscle Shoals horns among others, got down to record some of the finest funky soul and AOR. They took the name Mirage, aiming for stardom. Unfortunately no album was ever released and many tracks went on the shelves in the studio. Over 40 years later, Preservation Records are releasing two of their finest tracks on an exculsive 7".

Preservation Records dug out two killer blue eyed soul tracks from the Mirage vault.Here is the original version of "Just Cause I'm Guilty", taken from the unissed tracks from the group. Shelved for over 40 years.The soulful B side is another sureshot killer soulful track, you have probably heard it by Ruben Howell and Carl Carlton. This version made it to a mega limited demo 7" run on Warner Brothers, but never had an official release. The track is so good that it deserved a place on our Mirage releases.Carefully remastered and cut by Timmion for Preservation Records.
