Royal Athlete Records are back with another set of party bombs, lovingly curated to achieve maximum perspiration. Heading up side A is 'Dreamers' by UK's Chaconne. A certified disco-piano-banger, recalling 80s NYC hedonism and emotion. (The Real) Kent Clark, who so far has only one release on Bordello's Riviera Disco series follows up with an electro-boogie dub workout entitled 'Make It Right'. Our man in Holland: Aux Tha Masterfader, takes us back to the old-school with the LinnDrum breakdance beast, 'Let's Dance To The Beat'... He commands, we obey. Closing up is Dilemma, who recalls the memory of the early days of Belgium's debauched nightlife with searing leads and low-motion grooves in 'Bocca Nights'. All tracks mastered by Alek Stark.

With his smooth jazz samples he catches them all: his 46.000 (!) Soundcloud-Fans, the "Beatgeeks" from Berlin, the "Rapkids" from the Splash Festival and the Boiler Room in London. With "Cenário" FloFilz continues his musically city-trip, which started in Paris with "Metronom" in 2014. For his new album he travelled with the photographer Robert Winter to Lisbon. The impressions from the trip FloFilz put into 16 new tracks, on two of them he gets support by jazzsinger Olivia Wendlandt (Relaén). The "Cenário" LP comes in a perfect package with an effortful produced gatefoldcover including a 12 page photobooklet. The LP is limited to 2.000 copies.

Suff Daddy is back with his 3rd Album "BIRDSONGS" to be released this Summer accompanied by a Live-Tour in Autumn 2016.After a couple of years without a new solo release & makin moves with his Betty Ford Boys Brenk & Dexter, it was time for Suff Daddy to lay another egg in the form of a new album entitled "Birdsongs".Deeply rooted in the Suff Daddy signature sound, it is also proof of an evolutionary process. A little less sample chops, a little more synth, a little less straight hip hop, a little more melody. This doesn't mean that you won't be able to recognize the bird by its call anymore, it's just a slight change in tonality.After extending his stomping grounds to neighboring European countries by frequently playing international shows, including a London Boiler Room, he also opened for the mighty Anderson .Paak during his German shows in early 2016. Suff Daddy also remixed Lion Babe's "Wonder Woman" for Gilles Peterson Worldwide. He'll also be featured on the next "Spring in Jakarta" compilation.The album features some of the fellow birds Suff Daddy is known to fly with. Betty Ford Boy's Dexter adds drums and baselines, and Mayer Hawthorne delivers some vocals.Be on the lookout for Suff Daddy's upcoming tour which will feature a live band for the very first time. The Sunday Club EP

Introducing Felix Leifur, Dirt Crew's latest discovery, an all new, raw and savvy talent from Reykjavík, Iceland. Reykjavík has a population of just over 120,000, so the disco, hip hop and soul sampling, house music community that Felix rolls with is pretty tight knit, giving him a unique and inspired perspective on the sound. Remixing is friend of the label, Manchester's Hidden Spheres. After breaking through on our 'Deep Love 10' compilation, he went on to drop his 'Waiting' EP last summer on 'Distant Hawaii' (the dreamy offshoot of 'Lobster Theremin'). On the A, 'Berg Toppur', is a dance floor workout, a sublime balance of shimmering rhodes and vibrant arps with slamming organic percussion. 'Giving' is a spirited and warbling cut, crooning vocals and gritty horn blasts punctuate it's steady groove and loose live clap. This one's got open air written all over it. On the B-side, 'The Sunday Club' is a eclectic and somewhat eccentric jam, samples from across decades, weave together to create something altogether new. Next up, Hidden Spheres' "Rocky Top" remix of 'Berg Toppur' eases in with a casual vibe, steamy drums, and a no-nonsense bass line set the pace, while the arps and elated vocals from the original sweep and soar, building to a feverish peak of sun-scorched bliss. Finally, 'Wait' sets the mood with a dusty jazz piano refrain and a strutting groove, before bringing the playful yet punchy trip home with a solid head-nodding bass line. Felix Leifur's diverse ear and distinct style gives 'The Sunday Club' EP the perfect blend of breezy summertime spirit and serious night club heat.

Introducing Kon's forthcoming compilation album 'Kon & The Gang', we are delighted to present this 12" sampler featuring two incredible cuts taken from the LP, as well as an exclusive remix from Caserta. Opening track 'Timeless' could hardly be more aptly named. Sublime, smokey piano touches on the intro give way to an uplifting, languid disco track, jammed full of sunshine. Catchy vocal snippets, rock solid bass and guitar licks build up the groove beautifully alongside Kon's trademark staccato, squelchy synth chord stabs. On the flip-side Truccy (better known as Compost's Rainer Trüby and Corrado Bucci) present 'Closer', another sun-drenched groove with definite Balearic touches. Jazzy chords and touching vocals (performed by the duo themselves with assistance from Nicolas "Michael Ellis" Rogoll) lend the track a distinctly 'live' feel. Boston producer and mix engineer Caserta closes out proceedings with his remix of friend and musical collaborator Kon's 'Timeless'. Highlighting piano loops and synth stabs from the original version, his rework moves the track seamlessly into Deep House territory, with smoothly rolling percussion and a hypnotic arrangement. A delicious taste of what's to come from 'Kon & Gang', this limited 12" is surely going to be essential listening this summer.
