Dope new boogie straight out of Melbourne, Australia"Fronted by long-time collaborators Françoise d’Argent and Benny Badge, “So Good To You” showcases an evolution for Silver Linings and the duo's signature Soul-Boogie sound.Following their debut on Gulf Point with 2014’s “Sleepless”, Benny made the sketches for “So Good To You” during an extended pit-stop in Manchester, from which he returned with a sound palette affected heavily by the rainy city’s disposition for synthetically fused Jazz and electronic music.Bolstered with session work by fellow Melbourne locals Harvey Sutherland (Keys, Drum Programming), Silentjay (Saxophone), Lachlan Peavey (Bass) and more, these drafts became an intricate production that would see elements of Soul, Fusion and Electro layered with classic R&B arrangements and production etiquette.Describing the result of this unique ensemble can only be done by looking at its highlights. Moments such as “Start It Over” and the brooding “34th Floor” are an ode to UK Electro-Jazz; there’s the Sade-esque “Waiting For Your Love”; whilst “This Time” and “So Good To You” are a head-nod to Street Soul Legends Loose Ends and 52nd Street among others.

For the sixth release on People Must Jam, we headed to Poland to find two very special guys that make up Ptaki. 180g Vinyl - Strictly limited.Ptaki have been making ripples around the world for their unique approach to putting together a record or two and having just recently dropped their album Przelot those ripples have turned to waves. We are proud to announce their new record - Antypody that will possibly turn those waves tidal!Ptaki have delivered a wonderful varied EP with four different cuts.Kicking off with the crazy uptempo Hi-NRG disco cut Milosc after which the record moves into the more gorgeous Balearic territory of Termy. This blew us all away when we first heard it.On the flip Lotnik showcases some solid house roots before the EP ending on the porn sampling and rather brilliant Radio Roman.We are really stoked to have these boys on board for what we feel is going to be a very sought after record.

Suitably diagnosed as a possible '84 Bobby Nunn production (ZAF - Love Vinyl) and potential lost session by Nunn's 70's disco group of similar spelling (Alex Dimitriades); Wax Museum Records have at last shed light on this mysterious boogie 12".The title track 'Oasis Boulevard' (non ashamedly referencing the neon and silk fuelled heyday of 80's Miami) is a blissful drive down memory lane. The same analogue synth and drum machine grime continues on the flip 'Hotline' with the notable appearance of SoCAL's Moni Mendoza on vocals.Rumour has it that executive production was overseen by Benny Badge prior to his early Nite Class and Freekwency records, but of this no one can be 100% certain...
